HYBRID SALT WATER SYSTEM FOR SWIMMING POOLS

The Simple Salt System provides swimming pool owners with a better quality of water, while eliminating daily usage of harsh chemicals such as chlorine and bromine. Traditional salt systems can cause corrosion to the steel wall and top rails. More and more pool manufacturers will not warrant a pool that uses a traditional salt system. The Simple Salt System utilizes salt in a unique way, simply kick starting the process, to provide better quality water which is also environmentally friendly and safe for your pool. It provides a controlled and testable amount of natural minerals, in this case copper, of which the ideal range is between 0.3-0.5 ppm.
  • pH Neutral – Less Time Balancing Chemicals
  • Proven Technology using Natural Minerals
  • Greatly Reduces Itchy Skin, Irritated Eyes, Faded Swimsuits, and Chemical Odors
  • Non-Corrosive & Eco-Friendly to Operate
  • Natural Minerals That Are Safe For You, Your Family and Our Environment
  • Easy To Install
  • Easy To Use

A CLEAN POOL NATURALLY

Combined with doses of Prime, Vivid, and Shimmer, the Simple Salt System will purify your pool water the natural way, maintaining water quality that won’t irritate  your skin or eyes. It will also reduce the time you spend maintaining your pool.

A 40 lb. bag of pool salt, one time only, on new pools will achieve a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level of 1000 ppm or greater, kick starting the natural minerals.

SANITATION METHOD:

VS

Simple Salt Mineral System uses ionization to sanitize the water. This releases copper ions into the water, purifying water naturally. These ions disrupt the growth and reproduction of algae and bacteria.
Traditional Salt, Also known as salt chlorinators, these systems use electrolysis to convert salt (sodium chloride) into chlorine. The chlorine then sanitizes the pool water, killing bacteria and algae.

Maintenance:

Simple Salt requires less maintenance compared to traditional chlorine pools as well. The copper levels are maintained by the output dial when used to completion the cell will need to be replaced. A cell will last aprox. 1 pool season.
Traditional Salt generally require less maintenance compared to traditional chlorine pools. However, the salt levels need to be monitored, and occasionally, the cell may need cleaning to remove scale buildup. A typical cell needs to be replaced every 4 years.

Water Quality:

Simple Salt provides a softer feel to the water. Additionally, Simple Salt can reduce the use of harsh chemicals, which can result in gentler water for sensitive skin and eyes.
Traditional Salt produces water with a softer feel compared to traditional chlorine pools.

Initial Cost & Installation:

Simple Salt has a lower initial cost compared to saltwater generators. It is easier to install and plugs into a standard 110 outlet.
Traditional Salt generally have a higher initial cost compared to Simple salt. They require the installation of a salt chlorinators system along with the appropriate plumbing.

Effectiveness:

Simple Salt provides effective purification when used with Prime, VIVID and Shimmer, this water system eliminates bacteria and organics in a way that is safer on pools surface and equipment.
Traditional Salt is an effective sanitation method for most pools, keeping them clean and clear with proper maintenance. However, they may struggle with highly contaminated water or during periods of heavy use.

Environmental Impact:

Simple Salt is environmentally friendly reducing the need for harsh chemical sanitizers.
Traditional Salt generally considered more environmentally friendly than traditional chlorine pools because they reduce the need for added chemicals. However, the process of electrolysis can cause erosion to equipment.

EITHER SIMPLE SALT WATER CARE SYSTEM OR A  SALTWATER GENERATOR OFFER ALTERNATIVES TO TRADITIONAL CHLORINE POOLS, WITH EACH HAVING ITS OWN SET OF ADVANTAGES AND CONSIDERATIONS. THE CHOICE BETWEEN THE TWO DEPENDS ON FACTORS SUCH AS INITIAL COST, MAINTENANCE PREFERENCES, WATER QUALITY PREFERENCES, AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS.
